Afraid of the toilet

Posted 2011-04-01 by CF 12 voters
I was travelling recently and walked past a family outside the public toilets. The little girl was snuffling and pitifully sobbing to herself. I caught the mom telling dad that the girl was terrified of the auto-flush toilet. The poor child was distraught. It would seem kinder if there were another solution rather than force the child through such terror. What does the Mister Poll community think?
