Yup, I think it's a good idea for members of a swim team to get right into the pool without wasting time at toilets. They will be standing in the pool while the coach briefs them on what is to happen, and anyone who needs to pee can simply do it in the water through their swimwear while listening.
Also there is no need for a formal 'bathroom break' during training either. All that is required is a short rest from swimming so any team member who needs to pee can do it, again into the water of course. A swimming pool makes a very good toilet.

It is a fact that, to save time, some coaches tell swimmers to 'go' in the pool if they need to pee during training sessions.
